The use of honeycomb construction in design has been in place for thousands of years and continues to find new uses in the modern world. Using the bee-hive inspired hexagon shape of honeycomb, one can create low-density, high-strength designs for a variety of applications and has been used with increasing frequency over the past century. I love the flexibility of the shape especially for Home Interiors and Retail Merchandising.
